The Jain Senior Association was formed in September 1996, to conduct social, cultural and religious activates for them

Today, membership has grown to comprise of more than 150 families. It also provides entertainment and a unique opportunity to develop friendship with other seniors in the community.

Regular activities include musical programs, singing competitions, rangoli competitions, museum and sightseeing tours, Chaitya Paripati (visiting Ghar Derasars), tours to other temples, and other places of interest.

The association also organizes health seminars which have been very beneficial for the seniors. Other seminars have included information on state and federal benefit programs such as Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, transportation and housing benefits. Advice has also been made available on estate planning, preparation of wills programs offered through the Jain Senior Association.
